Christmas Tree Cutting Starts the Friday after Thanksgiving November 26, 2010 |
Starting in 1981 for five years we planted Pines (Scotch 75%, White 15% and Red 10%). Since then we have added Spruce (Blue & Norway) and in the year 2000 we started 500 White Spruce 3 year transplants. We have also planted Concolor, Douglas and Frasier firs which are now ready for cutting, having reached seven to eight feet in height. 1,400 trees are currently available in a variety of types and shapes for your selection up to 15' in height. We have a large selection of short needled varieties. APPLES: There is a $5.00 entrance fee for all vehicles. If the total apple purchase for this vehicle exceeds $37.50 a credit of $5.00 will given on that purchase. (25 pounds of apples at $1.50 per pound is equal to $37.50 tax is included). UPDATE! Powers Road going East is 1/4 mile North of traffic light on Highway 47 from Mobile Station and Main Entrance to DELL WEBB North from I-90. If approaching from the South on Highway 47 a left turn (east) is available 1/4 mile South of Kreutzer Road. Just beyond Regency Parkway traffic light.
